Thankyou from Unoh

Jon Owen thanks everyone at Rivergum for their ongoing support.
The two vegetable hampers this week went to a family in hospital and to a family who lost their 18 year old son. Great blessings in times of great need.
We now have 6 volunteers for the wedding, thankyou

UNOH wishes to Partner with people at Rivergum for the following:
  • Serving breakfast at Bidwill High School 7:30am Thursday's
  • Helping with a community wedding at Plumpton on the 7th of September. Rivergum community action group will send 4-6 volunteers.
  • Providing Co-op fruit and vegie boxes from RHAC to help folks in need. Rivergum is currently providing two boxes
  • Helping with kids club at Bidwill 3:30-6:30 Wednesday afternoons
  • One off community blitzes & targeted acts of kindness (usually 2/3 weeks notice)
  • Assisting with women's pamper nights; possibly before the end of year
  • Opportunities to mentor high school students in the transition to tertiary education. One Rivergum connection already made. The success of Bidwill students with tertiary education is largely dependent on their support from an outside mentor.
  • Live in mission training scheduled for November with the start of Christmas appeal organisation and onsite projects. Have you a heart for mission?
  • Provision of funds and presents for UNOH Christmas appeal. Children at Kids church will begin collecting gold coins for this soon. Tickets with present suggestions will be given out by Jon on Mission Sunday 22nd of September.
  • Advice and expertise for building a new community centre at Bidwill PS. A future project, not yet through approval.

For all activities with children, a police check will need to be conducted and Jon will assist you with the paperwork.
